"In my experience thus far I have found that the soundtrack tends to make itself apparent during the edit.

This could be because I write very dense soundscapes. Many composers tend to shy away from wanting to add anything at all.

The exception to this was John Hardy. His work on 'Dawn' was so beautiful. He understood the script inside out and he produced the most sublte and haunting of soundtracks.."
